|¡Bonne Anné!|

Perhaps this is a day early, but I couldn’t really post it tomorrow because that’s when the 365 challenge starts [:gulp:] and I did this last year for French class.

Anywho, I hope you all have an incredibly blessed New Year. ❤

I made this last year for a French assignment.  Took the snowman picture [and helped build him too!]

:{ “I know I’ll be okay” }:

I just realized–actually, I realized a while back, but I didn’t bother to do anything about it–the majority of my posts have been of photography.  Not that’s a bad thing, but I need a bit more variety.

I found the picture while back while looking for background pics for editing.  I just thought it fit so appropriately with the lyrics [from “Your Guardian Angel,” of course], and now I use it as my forum signature picture at times.

[Insert Title Here] [[For lack of anything better]]

Christmas has come and gone.  I hope yours was fabulous. : )  The 365 day challenge officially starts on New Year’s Day.  Let’s hope I can actually keep up with it.

Backlight again.  I love the texture in this, too.

|| Peppermint Winter

I love Owl City.  And Adam’s newest song “Peppermint Winter” is no exception.  After listening to it multiple times and after it snowing, I had to take a picture of it.  I like how it turned out. : )

Everyone, I hope you have a wonderfully merry Christmas. ❤

Ghostliness? || Creepalicious~

Yes, creepalicious happens to one of my favorite non-existent words.  Don’t ask me why.

I think it adequately describes this picture.

Anyway, it snowed, and I tried a ghosting effect.  It worked okay.  I have a hard time getting it to focus on me, and not the background.  But I still like how this looks.  A little spooky, hm?

::Halo of golden light::

One of my absolute favorites. SOOC.

This is admittedly one of my favorite pictures.  I adore the halo of sunlight surrounding the thistle.  The picture is a tad underexposed, but really, I quite like it for this picture because it gives a more mysterious, earthy look.  It took me much experimentation with my settings and a lot of hope that the wind wouldn’t cause blur to get this shot.

It makes me feel warm and happy. : )

Bird watchin’

Birds can be cool.  Birds that don’t fly away when I get about a foot away with them with my camera are epic.  Actually getting a sharp, quality close-up picture of a bird is absolutely priceless. : ))
